DID YOU KNOW...that Ben is just 1 try away from being only one of 5 players who have scored 25 tries in Heineken Cup Rugby? Now that's a good fact for a Monday! Next Heineken Cup Match for Sale is the coming weekend (16th Jan 2010) against Cardiff Blues and it's on the tele!

This coming weekend Sale travel to Wales to take on Cardiff Blues in the next stage of the Heineken Cup.

Sale currently stand second in Pool 5, just one point behind the great Toulouse. The pool winners go through to the knock out stages of the cup and the two highest scoring teams in second place join them to make up the eight places. Sale at the moment are sharing 8th place with, ironically, Northampton Saints.

So, Sale are in a strong position. Cardiff Blues away will be a hard match for the boys on Saturday but on current form they have every chance of coming away with a win.

Ben has 34 tries overall for European rugby, 24 in the Heineken Cup and 10 in the Challenge Cup (currently Amlin Cup). We are looking forward to him getting into the record books again with his 25th try!
